To alleviate this, we must always raise the awareness about the dangers of diabetes and its complications. 
People should be more aware about themselves and of how to prevent themselves from getting the disease . Although diabetes is widespread among people, some people are unaware of the nature of the disease.
 Diabetes can be defined as a range of metabolic-related diseases, resulting in high blood sugar levels due to decreased insulin secretion, or to the decreased response of cells to insulin , and if the level of sugar rise in the blood chronically, this will expose the human to dysfunction and failure in some parts of the body, such as the heart, arteries, nerves, eyes and kidneys.

There are certain factors that increase the chance of getting diabetes, most notably: 
- Age : getting old may be one of the factors that increase the chance of diabetes. 
- Obesity: and a large increase in weight.
- Lack of mobility and exercise, besides eating unhealthy foods.

The previous factors notes that diet plays a major role in the incidence of diabetes, Eating unhealthy foods and not following any  healthy diet will increase the risk of developing the disease, while on the other hand, following a healthy diet that provides the body with all the necessary elements in sufficient quantities , and practicing good healthy habits will help significantly in controlling the level of sugar in the blood. 
Following a healthy diet will also insure that the patient stays within the ideal weight, which will help the patient significantly to adjust the levels of sugar in the blood, but in some cases, the patient may need to take medications to control his blood sugar . 
Patients with diabetes are always advised to eat onions, garlic, thermos, cabbage and broccoli, because these foods have an active role in the burning of blood sugar. 
These patients must also avoid all unhealthy fatty foods, meat , foods and beverages sweetened, and too salty foods, because work on Increasing the sugar level significantly. There is no doubt that eating meals regularly and not missing any of them is also very important, especially breakfast, which is considered the most important meal of the daily meals, but for diabetics they have the meal special and healthy breakfast, which is represented by eating one loaf of brown bread, which It can be eaten with the following foods: one egg boiled and fresh.
